BROSIS Teacher-In-Charge

Welcome to Brosis School.

My name is Elizabeth, one of the long term teacher volunteer at Brosis School. I love teaching CRE Religious Education and English subjects in my high school and upper primary classes. I like storytelling, gospel songs, watching netball and football matches as well.

In my teaching of English, I challenge the learners mostly with tongue twisters like, ”Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers?  If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?.” This helps to lighten their tongue as they begin the day day’s lessons.

The Bible verses John 3:16, Psalms 23.27,107 guide us in our prayers. We are praying for our school to grow much big to help many children from the community around especially from no and less income families, HiV Aids affected and infected as well as orphaned ones.

My other interests are in making crafts and jewelry designs. I would like to teach these young children on how to make them.

This teaching opportunity enables me to look after the girls boarder and the vulnerable orphan children with special needs for referrals, assessment and educational placements.
